Time. Truths. Hearts.

Let me hear you call my name.

Well, we meet again.

I'm Alexa, but you already know that. However, you might call me Lexi, which is cool. Like me, cool that is. I make my own friendship bracelets like it's my job. But it's not. I work at a seasonal restaurant. I have an iPhone and we all know that makes me superior or something. Oh yeah, I'm like 21 or something like that. I love photography and have a Nikon D60... which I don't use. What more could you want from me? Just read.

More than words.

You know you love me, too.

What has changed?
Saturday, April 3, 2010
Looking back, and I know I say this quite often, I've changed. Every once in a while it hits me like a ton of bricks that I am just simply not the same. So far it actually has been for the better. I believe I have matured immensely, though yes, I still have that child inside. I've just grown and I want to continue to change and become Alexa. I get discouraged every now and again, but then I remember I'm better than that. I deserve to be happy. After all of my trials and tribulations, I deserve the right to be happy. My life hasn't been the easiest, but it sure as hell isn't as bad as I sometimes make it out to be. I just really need to remember to keep my head up.

And I can't possibly have done that, and come to this realization if it hasn't been for my true friends and michael. The more I think about it, the happier I am that I have weeded out the bitchy, self and drama obsessed assholes that I used to associate with (I am NOT calling everyone from my past assholes, but some definitely were). Like thank god I don't have to listen to you bitch every single day about nothing that you've made into something.

My life is about me, and though I can caught up in the drama of stories and who's who, it's completely unimportant. I am absolutely amazing; I'm not going to talk myself down. I don't understand why other people must try to bring each other down. I understand it makes them feel better about themselves, but is it truly necessary? Instead of looking in the mirror and picking out what we don't like, we should be looking at it at our beauty. We're all beautiful, and we all have flaws. It is what makes us human.

I'm gorgeous. I shouldn't let anyone else make me feel that I'm not. I'm promising myself that from now on I'll try and be realistic, but optimistic. Otherwise, I'm just going to tear myself down, and not accomplish anything in my life. I have proven so much to myself in the past several months, and I'm going to keep doing it. I don't know what my ultimate goal is in life, but I'm not going to let myself hold me back from attaining it.

Goodbye.
