Let me hear you call my name.
Well, we meet again. I'm Alexa, but you already know that. However, you might call me Lexi, which is cool. Like me, cool that is. I make my own friendship bracelets like it's my job. But it's not. I work at a seasonal restaurant. I have an iPhone and we all know that makes me superior or something. Oh yeah, I'm like 21 or something like that. I love photography and have a Nikon D60... which I don't use. What more could you want from me? Just read. More than words.
You know you love me, too.

Dysmenorrhea
Thursday, August 6, 2009
The doctor said I would be there for four to six hours, and Mike, who has work tonight, came and showed up. He sat with me for like a half an hour and then he had to go. I feel bad making him come and see me, but it made me feel a gazillion times better. After two IVs, some pain medication and signing some release forms, we were out of the hospital within two and a half hours. Unfortunately, I missed Girls Night Out and Lauren is mad at me. I told her this morning that I got my period and I probably wasn't going to go and hang out after dinner. To which she responded, "whatever." Then, after I went to the hospital, I texted her from my mother's phone and said I wouldn't be going, I was in the hospital. She said "why? are you okay?" I told her I went because of my period and she gave me her short "ok." She's mad. Nobody understands how bad my periods get. Nobody gets that it's really uncomfortable to have to deal with this once a month for three days. She tells me to "suck it up; that it's not that bad," but it is. I hate that she's mad at me over this. It isn't my fault. I'm really mad if she's mad. It's not fair that I'm genuinely in pain, and she says I suck. |
Goodbye.
